Just thought to give another quick update on progress of transfer to UrduWorld.
To my best estimate we have done almost 15-20% transfer tasks completed. This estimate based on following progress made during this week.
1- We closed Arcade on HG and now UW Arcade is fully functional with 1000+ 32bit games.
2- Approx. 200 Books uploaded to UrduWorld - we still have to move around 3000 more books. But a team started work on this and we are hoping to have most of books moved on UrduWorld in next 1-2 weeks InshaAllah.
3- UrduWorld Forum Administration team is almost finalized, and this structure will be shared here in this section during next week.
4- Forum Rules are drafted and reviewed, these rules will be published inshaAllah in 1-2 weeks after final review & approval.
5- Audio Video Chat is now available to all users of UrduWorld Forum. Fully integrated with forum. Further template configuration work will be done in another 1-2 weeks InshaAllah.
6. We amended HG registration page and since the changes, we start getting well over 150 new registration every day on UrduWorld forum.
7. During this week number of daily registered members on Urdu World forum increased from 30-40 a day over 300 a day. On HG this figure is over 1000, which we are hoping to achive inshaAllah in 2-3 months time.
8. We installed an invitation system which is now fully integrated with the forum registration.
9. UrduWorld Photo Gallery is now fully ready for users to start uploading images. Almost 90% of categories are created, and soon designers and poets categories will be created after that Gallery on HG will be closed for further uploads. This will be done InshaAllah within 1-2 weeks time.
10. Most if not all of users reported bugs/errors are fixed, and currently we are giving top priority to all Errors/Bugs/Issues reported about UrduWorld Forum.
11. Number of Threads & Posts a day increased to 1500-2000 a day from just over 200 last week. InshaAllah we are hoping this to pick up even further in coming days and weeks.
12. A new style with fully working Urdu Editor is installed, now users can post in urdu unicode without any problem. This new style is named as Default Urdu and already tested by many users in test forum.
13. Well over 100+ section on HG have now link to respective section on Urduworld forums. Which means users visiting HG know know what is the link of similar section on UrduWorld.
14. A lot of other minor setup & configuration work done on UrduWorld.
15. All teams have now started actively participating in their respective sections, and new members also enjoying forum activities.
There might be few other bits I missed, but based on above we can easily say Forum Transfer work is 15-20% completed.
