Hi guys,
I don't know if this post belongs here, but I would really appreciate the help. I came across this song 'Meri yaad main tum na' and I would really love to know the full meaning of it. I wrote down the lyrics as well as I could, and I understand parts of it, but anyone who translates any part of it will earn my eternal gratitude. I am not a native Urdu speaker, so I don't understand some words like 'bahana' 'guzra' etc etc and am having some trouble as a result.
Meri yaad mein tum na ansoo bahana
Na ji ko jalana, mujhe bhul jaana.
Samajna ke tha ek saapna sohana
woh guzra zamana, mujhe bhul jaana.
Judaa meri manzil, judaa teri raahe
Milengi na abh teri meri gaahe
Mujhe teri duniyaa se he dur jaana
Na ji ko jalana, mujhe bhul jaana.
Ye ro ro ke kehta hain, toota huwa dil
Nehi hu mein teri mohabbat ki kabil
