Apni aawaz suna ke jo wo jaan-e-ghazal gayee
aisa laga ke jaisay dunia hi badal gayee

aisa laga ke sab ne hi uska pata maanga
aisa laga ke deewana wo ker ke mehfil gayee

aisa laga ke sab hi usay chahaney lagay
aisa laga ke le wo sabke jaan-o-dil gayee

aisa laga ke jaisay koi bheid pa lia
aisa laga ke khlish-e-musalsal,nikal gayee

aisa laga ke khoyee huyee raah mil gayee
aisa laga ke zindagi ker mukamal gayee

aisa laga ke fiza main naghmay bikher gaye
aisa laga ke urra ke hawa aanchal gayeee

aisa laga ke khushboo ne koi phool choom lia
aisa laga ke koi kali dil mein khil gayeee

aisa laga ke dil ko bhi qarar aa gaya
aisa laga ke khusi abb janib-e-dil gayee

aisa laga ke pyasay ko daria nazar aaya
aisa laga ke khoyee manzil hi mil gayeee

aisa laga ke her shay pe nikhaar aa gaya
aisa laga ke gard-e-safar thi jo dhul gayee

aisa laga ke zehn-o-dil roshan se ho gaye
aisa laga ke socho'n main mithaas ghul gayee

aisa laga ke safar abb khatam ho gaya
aisa laga ke mojj sahil-ba-sahil gayeee

aisa laga ke yaado'n ka koi karwaa'n chala
aisa laga ke puljhari koi sukh ki chal gayeee

aisa laga ke aanay wali kal haseen hai
aisa laga ke ronay wali apni kal gayeee

aisa laga ke shafaa ke koi hawa chali
aisa laga ke beemaro'n ki sab mushkil gayee

aisa laga ke zindagi ko sab ne pukara hai
aisa laga ke arzo-ey margg pal pal gayeee

aisa laga ke sehra ki bhi pyas bujh gayee
aisa laga ke sehra ki umeed-e-baadal gayee

aisa laga ke sehar abb honay hi wali hai
aisa laga ke sham-e-hijar, nikal gayeee

aisa laga ke bujhtay diye bhi roshan huye
aisa laga ke shama-e-mohabat phir se jal gayee

aisa laga ke dukh bhi sab muskuraye hain
aisa laga ke moj-e-ghum khushi main dhal gayee
