Pyaas pe lekin ghuroor ho ga

Nash-sha-e-gham jab ragoN maiN utray
Halka halka suroor ho ga

Saari saza ye sochtay kaaTi
Kuch to apna qusoor ho ga

Bazm-e-tarab phir chHin jayegi
Koi bahana zaroor ho ga

Khul na sakeNgi aaNkheN apni
Jab jab un ka zahoor ho ga

Zulm ka dukh wo batlaayeNge
Jin ko haq ka sha'oor ho ga

Saari haqeeqat khule gi jis dam
Zaat ka darya aboor ho ga

Marg-e-Saraab asaan nahiN hai
Shayed nash-shay maiN choor ho ga
