Alalet ke bais, sunbhla nahin jaaye
Hay re hay, koi niswaar to dilaaye

Poora din guzera, aur niswaar ki khuber nahin
Hay re hay, ab to khuda hi buchaaye

Aisa bura haal hai pathan ka is ki judai main
ke use her Huri cheez main niswaar hi nuzer aaye

Wohi hai jaan-e-tummuna, wohi hai us ki dilruba
Ab niswaar nahin to kaun hai jo us ke hosh uraye

Yehi pathan ki jaan hai, yehi pathan ki shaan hai
Yehi to woh taaqet hai, jo pathan ko pathan bunaaye

Ae khuda, is pathan per, aur zulm-o-sitem na ker
Agar yeh na mili to pathan to derd-e-judai se mer jaaye

Yeh to deewangi gi intiha hai ke Khocha
Koi pathan na mil seka, jo is ko sumjhaaye
