"ye jo reeg-e-dasht-e-firaq hay
ye rukay agar ........ ye rukay agar
Tu sukoon milay
mery zindagi ki talkhiyon ko FANA milay
Meray chara gar
zara lamha bhar
K abhi tu chashm-e-firaq main
jo basi hoi hain tanhaiyyan
Unheen khatm kernay de aik bar
k jo dasht-e-dard hay be karan
Jo ho ye khatam tu milay nishan
Tu milay nishan meray naam ka
Tu jo ker nazar meray haal per
Ho saweera mery Shaam ka
Tu mujhay bhula na de kahin .... Mujhay maar dalay ga ye hi dar
Meray Chara gar .....
