Kuch dhin pehlay jabh meri

Mulaqaat uss Zalim say huwi

Saans meri thi phooli huwi

DhadkaneiN bhi thami huwi

Uss say jabh meine poocha

Kaisay katay yeh dhin yeh Raat

Wissl-e-Yaar keh khwaab liyay

AnkheiN usski bool gayeiN

Yeh dhin bhi usskeh naam huway

Yeh RaateiN bhi ussko daan huwi

Jo Hoshraba, Dil-o-Jaan huwi

Jo mujhse mujhko cheein gayi

Mairay Shabd usskay meri Jaan usski

Yeh baat hi usski Yaad huwi

Sun keh usski baat ko meiN

Hairaan huwi Pareshaan huwi

Meri AnkhoN ki joat MadhHam huwi

Meri Muhabbat Kabhi meri na huwi

MeiN haar gayi-MeiN haar gayi

Teri meiN Dildaar huwi!
