Ashjaar bhi hairaan haiN, is Dhab se khaRay haiN

Jab se ke naveed amad-e-qatil ki suni hai
Sab muntazir-e-taigh-e-jafa tab se khaRay haiN

Wo aaNkh hui teera, ke dikhti hi nahiN sub'h
HalaaNke isi shouq maiN ham shab se khaRay haiN

Jab tak ke ye baRhti nahiN, deedaar hi hojaaye
Wabista teri barhami-e-lab se khaRay haiN

Ek wo ke phir ek baar hua bheeR maiN shaamil
Ek ham ke phir ek baar juda sab se khaRay haiN

Jo TooT chuka, de ke hamaiN tohfa-e-zulmat
Ummeed lagaaye usi kaukab se khaRay haiN

Ek pal na Saraab aaj talak baiTh sakay ham
Is zeest ke maidaan maiN ham jab se khaRay haiN

bht khoob zameen aur bht kamaal ghazal hai
lutf aaya paRhnay ka, aur aap ne saraab kehlane ka haq adaa kiya hai.
aur bht saada alfaaz mein likha hai jis ka bht maza aya
bhai kya shair kaha aap ne:

Jab se ke naveed amad-e-qatil ki suni hai
Sab muntazir-e-taigh-e-jafa tab se khaRay haiN
