din abhi kuch yahan bitaanay hain
phir yeh sunay mehal jalanay hain
aa'ina kaab dikhaayega chehra?
aur kitnay naqaab uthanay hain?
koun say zakham ab haray hongay?
kaun say khuwab ab bhulanay hain?
shaakh kanton bhari to hai lekin
gul kisi din tu iss pay aanay hain
koie apnaa nahin zamaanay main
aftab yeh bhi kya zamanay hain
