کیا اسیری کیا اسیروں کا سخن
کون بدلے رات کا اب پیرہن

ایک بےتابی مرا اعزاز ہے
آپ کہتے ہیں بدل ڈالوں چلن

گو نظر آنے لگا ساحل ہمیں
شل ہوا طوفان سے لیکن بدن

ہم کہاں حقدار تیری دید کے
تو اگر بخشے ترا سارا چمن

دید کی خواہش اگر گستاخ ہے
کس طرح پھر روبرو ہو گا ملن

ہم ادائے سادگی میں مست تھے
غیر محفل لے گیا دکھلا کے فن

نام اس موصوف کا احساس ہے
آپ کو تکلیف دے جس کی چبھن
