jo khuaab suhanay sai lagtay thay
abb afsaanay sai bun gayyay hain

wo phool kalion ki pyari si gallian theen
wahin ik makan mai wo nazneen thi

wo muskurahatain jo honton per khilti theen
asman per roshan sitaron si lagti thi

wo nazuk si hatailian theen us ki
ghazaloon si nighain theen us ki

mai madhoosh mairi rooh munjamid thi
halankaie ishq baesab mazil baeyaqeen thi

saatain phir bhi kitni haseen theen
her sama khushnuma her cheez pur rangeen thi

or jub sub choota mujhe sai to yun laga
mai abb jaga hoon or wo mairi neend thi..........
