ruk gaei dil ki dherkun uskay aa ney pey
na raha hosh deykha jub unki ankhon mein

tupti dhoop mein damukta unka chehrah
khuda ney banaya ho fursut k zamaney mein

by sakhtagi mein jo hunse dey khil khyla k
lagey hazaron phool gir parey hein sujdey mein

kash waqt te’hur jaey jub mein hon un k pass
muddassar omer beet jaey is teh'ray lumhey mein
