Zaraa bhi dil maiN wehshat he? naheeN to!
To kiaa raahat hi raahat he? naheeN to!.

Bataor e humsafar dil ke safar maiN
Tujhay mairi zaroorat he? naheeN to!

MaiN jis aazaar se guzraa hooN har pal
Usay sun,nay ki fursat he? naheeN to!

Mujhay sehraa ne phir aawaaz dee he
merii majnooN si haalat he? naheeN to!

Bohat uoonchi hawaa maiN uR rahay ho
Falak chhoonay ki taaqat he? naheeN to!

Tu bazm e ghair maiN he go mu-azzaz
Terii apnoN maiN izzat he? naheeN to!

Sukhan jo aa giaa Ashraf zabaaN par
Usay kehnay ki himmat he? naheeN to!
