~*~ ek shaam ~*~


ye us shaam jaisi ek shaam hai
barasti boondoon mein bhi ek paighaam hai
hawa nai shokhi sai kaha suno to
tumhari hansi mein bhi shamil
kisi ka naam hai

us shaam bhi yunhi ghata jhoom kar ai thi
barish ki rhim jhim nai aik dhun sajai thi
mere dil ki dharkanoon mein shamil theen
shabnam mein lipteen tumhari batain
us shaam bhi yunhi tum nai ek baat sunai thi

us shaam pyar sai thama tha tum nai hath
bahar nai rahoon mein keh kashaan bichai thi
yunhi ankhoon mein dekh kar haulai sai
kaha tha tum nai
is barish mein hai meri chahat ki parchai bhi

us shaam kai bheegai lamhoon mein
khawaboon sai raat sajai thi
tanha chand kai angan mein
khawaishoon ki bahar phir ai thi
mein yunhi khud mein khoi si khud sai bhi sharmai thi

us shaam kai dhaltai sai mein
jab udasi har soo chai thi
yun tanha chor kar janai par
jab ank meri bhar ai thi
tum nai kaha tha mujhse sai
is rhim jhim kai sang rehna tum
hai is mein meri mohabbat ki rehnumai bhi

aaj bhi aik aisi hi shaam hai
mein nai barish mein likha tumhara naam hai
hathoon ki lakeeroon mein dekha hai
chehra tumhara
meri har dua mein shamil dil ka paighaam hai....../rose
