Dunya! tere haathoN maiN jo kam hogaye paththar
Ham ko bhi uThaa Daal ke ham hogaye paththar

Niklay the to socha tha ke us dar pe chalengay
Nazdeek jo pohunchay to qadam hogaye paththar

Aaqa (p.b.u.h.) ki mohabbat ne wo irfaan dia hai
Yakbaargi, saaray hi sanam hogaye paththar

Ye raah-e-sadaqat maiN nikalnay ki saza hai
Tehreer huay zakhm, qalam hogaye paththar

Is dil ke nihaaN-khanay maiN jalwa wo dikha hai
Ab apnay liye dair-o-haram hogaye paththar

Sanglaakh se rustay pe yaqeeN se jo nazar ki
Khud raahraw-e-raah-e-adam hogaye paththar

Baarish to Saraab ab teri qismat maiN nahiN hai
AshkoN ki jhaRi hogi jo nam hogaye paththar

Saraabs bhai,

Aap ki yeh ghazal buhat ziyada pasnad aayee khubsurat khayalat ko utni hi khubsurti say bayan karnay kay saath hi aap nay mushkil radeef aur qafiyay ko bhi buhat khubi say nibhaya hai meri bharpoor daad qabool kijiyay.
