sab umeeden abb murjah gayi hain
ankhon ko mily gi tandak unke pani se abb

phir a ke zamane wale dareeche khol den ge
zakhm apne rafo karen kab tak

dukh tu sab ko milte hain rang un ke juda juda hain
kuch to roote hain kuch muskora ke sae jate hain

dil ke zakhmoon ka andaza kya hota hai mere se
sahil se kya janoon ge darya kitna gehra hai

ye meri mohabbat ke junnon ki karamat hai
ke meri mohabbat ke junoon mein koi sugwar nahin

gay dino mein tu shamo sahar na the aise
ke hum udhas buhat the magar na the aise
