Khawabi hussn-e-sawalat ne dil tor diya
baat eysi thi k har baat ne dil tor diya

dil toh zakhmi ho magar aah namon se niklye
piyar ki eysi rawayat ne dil tor diya

woh ghalat kehtye hain k ras aai na ulfat hum ko
asal mein oun ki aanayat ne dil tor diya

ranjh hota hae jo lagatye hain hum pe tuhmat
oun k in talkh bayanat ne dil tor diya

hum ne socha tha k sawan mein toh aye gi bahar
sawan aaya toh barsat ne dil tor diya

raat dhal jati hae yunhi toh sehar hoti hae
woh bhi kia raat thi jis raat ne dil tor diya

hum ne ALLAH se mangi thein Duaian kia kia
rayegaan zikar-o-manajat ne dil tor diya

yun toh halat se so bar kiye samjhootye
kia karain ghardish-e-halat ne dil tor diya

janye ab kis dil se karain shikayat ounki
jis ne pehlii mulaqat mein dil tor diya
