Sukhanwar aur sukhan feham ehbab ki khidmat mein ek nayee tuk bandi:

Dil ke ka�bey mein butkada tha alag
Piyar ke deen ka khuda tha alag

Loh-e hasti pe nam they dow ,dow
Ik mera nam hi khuda tha alag

Lazzaten wasl ki hein apni jageh
Hijr mein tere kuch maza tha alag

Qurbten bas theen duniya dari ko
Mujh sey wo kab ka ho chukka tha alag

Kaisey manzil pe ham ponhach paatey
Us ka aur mera raasta tha alag

Us ki nazren theen ajnabi werna
Mein tow kuch duur hi khara tha alag

Yaas ka bey amaaN andhera tha
Ik diya phir bhi jal raha tha alag
