Barsat main apney tan mun ko
Ashkoo.n sey bhigoya karti thi
Wo kanch sey nazuk khwaboo.n ko
Palkoo.n main piroya karti thi
Aik larki uljhi suljhi sii
Jo khud main gum sum rehti thi

Najane uska naam tha kiya
Per mujh ko aachi lagti thi
Jhoot bhari is duniya main
Wo wahid sachi lagti thi
Kal raat mujhe ik khabar mili
Wo aag main jal bethi
Wo apni kum sin nadaani main
Moti sey ganwa kutch pal bethi
Aik larki uljhi suljhi sii
Jo khud main gum sum rahti thi
Na jane us ko ghum tha kiya

Bohot khubsoorat nazm hey Shagufta jee bohot acchey aur bohot touchy bhi pehlay to main parhtay howay mazaqan likhnay laga thaa keh bhi suraj say baatain kesi karti thee woh aur sahil ager karachi kaa thaa to ab usko mana kar do keh ab jaa kay naa baithna bemaar ho jao gee per aglay hisay nay thora saa touchy kar diya keh jo jumlay mazaqan aaey thay woh dhundlay parnay lagay aur aik ajeeb see udaasi nay unki jagah lay lee.
