Abhi neeNd kahaN abhi chain kahaN
Abhi to chalyN haiN yaadoN ke kafelay

Abhi kuch keh to leN kuch sun to leiN
Kuch dard ki kaliyaN chun to leiN
Abhi dil zara behak to ley
Abhi shub zara mehak to ley
Abhi meye kaisailee lagti hai
Abhi chandni mailee lagti hai
Abhi mahOl-i-sukhan bun to ley
Anjuman zara jum to ley
Abhi shub kahaN abhi shaam hai
Abhi khud ka hameiN ilhaam hai

Abhi sukhan meiN vo nashaa nahiN
Koi she'r peer-e-mugaN nahiN
Abhi dard ne ki hai ibtada
Abhi "Sagar" ne kuch kahaa nahiN

Abhi na jao meri jaaN
Abhi hai bahut raat jawaaN
