Ankhoo.n ki zaya tum ho, Aanchal ki haya tum ho

Ankhoo.n key jharokoo.n sey aa jaoo kabhi dill main
Sapnoo.n ki sada tum ho, jeney ki ada tum ho

Jewan key bayabaa.n main aa kar kabhi barso tu
Tapti hoi mitti hoon, ghanghor ghata tum ho

Sajda tumhain karne ko tarapti hay jabee.n meri
Main banda-e aajiz hoon, mohabbat k Khuda tum ho

Jo hay tum sey mujhe nisbat wo kaise bayaa.n kar doon
Haan meri nawa tum ho, haan meri wafa tum ho

Ik shaam Shagufta sey bola tha kabhi tum nay
Haa.n barg-e khizaa.n hoo.n main, haan baad-e saba tum ho
