Paradoxical Presence How far have you gone from me! Far beyond the reach of my thoughts. Your anguishing memories haunt me Still, I cannot even scratch them off. You live far from me, but within me too. This paradoxical presence suits me too. (Translated by Sajjad Shaikh) In Urdu Tazaad Kithney koso pe jaa basi hai too Mein thujhey soch bhi nahi saktha Ithna be-bas hoon, teri soch ko mein Zehn se noch bhi nahi saktha Mujh se too door bhi hai paas bhi hai Aur mujhey yeh tazaad raas bhi hai.
