First of all I must say rejected image doesn't even fall under category of "Senior Designers Work", sorry for a straight comments, but couldn't stop saying this.

now I must say the more happy I was with work I seen by junior designers, even more disappointed I am with most of work shared here. Anyways I come to comments and rating straight away.

1: rating 5/10 - a very nice border but why such a big background ? and word style is not very good either. what's wrong ? It looks like this image was made in rush and not even for competition, I can say this because I have seen some very good images designed by yourself.

2: rating 6/10 - very cool border, but what happened to background and word styles ? Didn't you find a good concept for the background ? and what is that on top left and bottom right corner ? you could have used nothing then this.

3: rating 8/10 - this is what i can say an image designed by a senior designer, a very good composition, and formation of things, good color combination, good border, very good image.

4: rating 7/10 - a good image but what happen to color scheme ? border doesn't go well with left side of the image but okay with right side of the image, 2ndly what happen to word style ? 2ndly the movement you have in left background image it over running rest of the image including border and font style etc.,

Overall I am disappointed with most of the images in this competition of Senior designers, I have very high expectations from you.
