Ghazal

woh sab ke dil main rahta tha sab ka habib tha
gar sochiye to sara zamana raqib tha
apne dukhon se auron ke dukh jane lag-e
har aik ronewala hamare qarib tha
jab dost tha mera to kabhi paas na raha
dushman hua to sath na chhora ajeeb tha
rishta nibha gaya woh saliqe se is tarah
sab sochte rahe main bara khushnasib tha
apni khwahishon ka woh aisa raha aseer
thin nematein jaha-n ki magar phir gharib tha
tha la ilaj marz magar Noor charagar
har dard legaya woh nirala tabib tha
