Tou iss nageenay ko bhi ghour sey daikhoo
Meri nigaahoun ki jagmagaahat
Tumhaarii aankhoun sey yeh kahey gee
"Suno,
"Muhabbat tou khush-gumaa'n hai"
Agar koi bughz-e-dil ka maara
Falak sey tootaa huaa sitaara
Tumhaarey seeney mein waswasoun kay
Kaisey khanjer utaartaa hoo
Ke woo jo dil-phaink-o-bey-wafaa hai
Ke woo sab per freefta hai
Ke woo jo perdais jaa basaa hai
Tumhain bhanwer beech chhour dey gaa
Wafaa kay sab qoul tour dey gaa
Chalo buss ab uss ko bhool jaaou
Tou iss sey pehlay ke jal bujho tum
Tou iss sey pehlay ke yeh kahoo tum
Woo aihd-o-paimaan sab ghalat thay
Wafaa kay unwaan sab ghalat thay
Sahar kay imkaan sab ghalat thay
Tum apni angusht-e-maahwash per
Gulaab chehraa jhukaa kay kehnaa
Suno, woo sach much bey-wafaa hai?
Tumhaara routa sawaal sun ker
Woo shukh nag muskuraa parey gaa
Tumhaarey gaaloun ko thapthapaa ker
Haseen angushteri kahey gee
