tum jo pal ko thahar jaao to ye lamhen bhi
aanewale lamhon ki amaanat ban jaayen
tum jo thahar jaao to ye raat, mahataab
ye sabzaa, ye gulaab aur ham donon ke khvaab
sab ke sab aise mubaham hon keh haqiqat ho jaayen
tum thahar jaao keh unavaan ki tafasiir ho tum
tum se talkhi-e-auqaat kaa mausam badale
raat to kyaa badalegii, haaalat to kyaa badalenge
tum jo thahar jaao to meri zaat ka mausam badale
maharbaan ho ke na thaharo to phir yuun thaharo
jaise pal bhar ko koi khwaab-e-tamannaa thahare
jaise daravesh-e-madaa-nosh ke piyaale men kabhii
ek do pal ke liye talkhii-e-duniyaa thahare
Thahar jaao ke madaarat-e- maikhaane se
chalate chalate koi aik-aadh subuu ho jaaye
is se pahale keh koi lamha-e-aindaa ka teer
is tarah aaye ke pevast-e-guluu ho jaaye

keh hotay jatay hain qatal aur kam nahi hotay !!!
