Jis ki yaad say dil noor noor hay
Janta hon har soorat wo ghair hay
Phir bhi uski aarzo zaroor hay

Mila anjaam na kahani ko
Barbad kar baitha jawani ko
Seenay say lagaye phirta hon
Yar ki aakhri nishani ko

Wo na hoti to main kahan hota
Zarra hota na aasman hota
Wo hi dunya daari k jhagray hotay
Wo hi be-rozgaari ka sama hota

Aye kash k wo ba-wafa hota
Yahan makam kuch juda hota
Main ro deta hon is khayaal par
Wo jo meri hoti to kya hota?

Us k gham main khoye rehtay hain
Khuli aankhon say soye rehtay hain
Girte hain palkon say aansoo aaisay
K apna daaman bhogoye rehtay hain

Jab kabhi khud ko tanha paata hon
Ik tasveer zehan main banata hon
Kar k band bheegi palkon ko
Us ki yaadon main doob jaata hon

Kaise keh doon k woh paraya hay
Usi nay to jeena sikhaya hay
Hay usi k naam se ye shayeri
Ye KamaL usi nay banaya hay

Wo Pari to meelon door hay
Han us ki aarzoo zaroor hay !!!
