Na jaane mohabbat itni tanhaa kyon hai, Apni aagosh mein soone dilon ki tamaam dhadkanein sanjauye Yeh viraan kyon hai? Na jaane dhadkane itni khaamosh kyon hain Toote huey dilon ki beaawaazgi Cheekhein bun kur goonjti kyon hain? Seene mein dehukti aag aur dard ki chingaariyaa Khud ko julla naa paayi Yeh burff si thandi kyon hain? Dil mein ik dard ka ehsaas tha YARUB Ya kisiki bewafaai ki intehaa thhi, Na jaane abh woh chubhann itni khush gawaar kyon hai, Yahaan koi nahi kucch bhi nahi sirf ik viraana hai, Phir benoor bejaan aankhein Kisi apne ke nishaan dhoondhti kyon hain,? Ai zindagi tere aane se pehle aur tere chule jaane ke baad , Yeh meri saanso ki rawaani Meri hi rooh ki kasak kyon hai Na jaane mohabbut itni tanha kyon hai…. Apni aagosh mein soone dilon ki tamaam dhadkanein sanjauye Yeh viraan kyon hai,? Wonder Why love is so lonely, Embracing the gamut of lonely heartbeats, Why it is so forlorn? Why are these heartbeats so silent, Why does this eloquent silence of broken hearts, Echo like shrill screams? Why the raging fires and embers of heartache, Fail in engulfing the self, Why are they cold like ice? Oh! Lord was it the feeling of heartache, Or the height of someone's betrayal, Wonder why that ache, Seems so pleasurable now? There's no one, nothing, just a vast emptiness, Why then do these lifeless eyes , continue the search for that someone known? Oh! my life my love, Why before your advent and after your departure, This life is no more than the pain of my own soul? Wonder Why love is so lonely Embracing the gamut of lonely heartbeats, Why it is so forlorn? *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ *                  |
