MUJHAY APNAY ZABT PE NAZ THA,
SAR-E BAZM RAAT YE KYA HUA,
MERI AANKH KAISAY CHALAK PARI,
MUJHAY RANJ HAI YE BURA HUA…

MERI ZINDAGI K CHIRAGH KA,
YE MIZAJ KOI NAYA NA THA,
ABHI TEERGI, ABHI ROSHNI,
NA JALA HUA, NA BUJHA HUA…

MUJHAY AAP KYUN NA SAMAJH SAKAY,
YE APNAY DIL SE PUCHIEY,
MERI DASTAN-E HAYAT KA,
HAI WARQ WARQ KHULA HUA…

MUJHAY HAMSAFAR BHI MILA KAHIN,
TO MERI TARAH SHIKASTA JAN,
KAI MANZILON KA THAKA HUA,
KAI RASTON KA LUTA HUA…
