palkoon kay anchal ko choo ker
jab galoon ko tar kertay hain
tu in ki garmahat
kuch dair ko tu
mujhay teri yaad dala jati hai
duri kay andhayroon main
yaadoon ka eik deep jala jati hai
her qatray main tera aks yun jhalakta hai
jasey shabnam ka pani pattiyoon pe chamakta hai
raat kitni he gheri kiun na ho jaye
falak pe roz eik tara zaroor nikalta hai
magher kon janey
teri yaad main bahtey
ye aansoo
mahaz pani ki chand boondain nahin
teri furqat
teri judai main beitay
her pal her lamhay
her dard her sapney
ki wo tasweerian hain
jo meri tanhahioon ko yun ayan kerti hain
jasey sahra ki tapti rait per
barish ki boondain khud ko jazab kerti hain
kon janey aakash kiun rota hai
kon janey pyar kiun hota hai
kiun nafratoon kay beej botay hain
kiun khushiyoon ka shaher sota hai
haan itna zaroor hota hai
jafa kay daagh dhul jatey hain
ana kay phool khel jatey hain
ajnabi rastoon pe chaltey chaltey
kabhi apney bhi mil jatey hain
wafa ka banhan toot jaye tu
yahee apney rooth jatey hain
zabt ki kashti doop jaye tu
taiz bahao main beh jatey hain
kiun itni door chaley jatay hain
kay wapsi kay sab rastey mit jatey hain
magher kis ko pata hai
kis ko khaber hai
kay teri yaad main behtay

aaj bhi apni tapish
apna naksh choor jatey hain
