jese mehtab ko bey_ant samandar chahey
jese sooraj ki kiran seep ke dil mein utrey
jese khushboo ko hawa rang se hat kar chahey

jese pathar ke kaleejey se kiran phoot_ti hay
jese ghunchey khuley moosam se hina mang_tey hein
jese khushboo mein khayaloon ki kama toot_ti hay
jese barish ki dua aabla paa mang_tey hein

mera har khuwab mere har sach ki gawahi de ga
wusat-e-deed ne mugh se teri khuwahish ki hay
merey sochon mein kabhi deekh sarapa apna
mein ne duniya se alag teeri paristish ki hay

khuwahish-e-deed ka moosam kabhi dhundla jo howa
noch daali hein zamanon ki tanabein mein ne
teri palkon pe utarti hoi subhoon ke leye
toor daali hein sitaron ki tanabein mein ne

mein ne chaha ke tere husn ki gulnar faza
meri ghazloon ki qitaroon se dehekti jaye
mein ne chaha ke mere fan ke gulistan ki bahar
teri aankhon ke gulabon se mehekti jaye

tay to ye tha ke sajata rahey lafzon ke kanwal
mere khamosh khayalon men takallum tera
raqs karta rahey phirta rahey khushboo ka khumar
meri khuwahish ke jazeeron mein tabassum tera

tu agar ajnabi mahol ki parwarda kiran
meri bujhti hoi raton ko sahar kar na saki
teri sanson mein maseehai thi leken tu bhi
chara-e-zakhm_e_ gham-e-deeda tari kar na saki

tujhko ehsas hi kab hay ke kisi dard ka dagh
aankh se dil mien utar jaye to kia hota hay
tu ke seemab tabiat hay tujhey kia maloom
moosam-e-hijr tehar jaye to kia hota hay

tu ne us mor pe tora hay ta_aluq ke jahan
deekh sakta hay na koi bhi palat kar jana
ab ye alam hay ke aankhein jo khulein gi apni
yaad aye ga teri deed ka manzar jana

mugh se mange ga terey ehd-e-muhabbat ka hisab
merey hijran ka dehekta howa mehshar jana
yoon mere dil ke brabar tera gham aya hay
jese sheeshey ke muqabil koi pat_thar jana

jese mehtab ko bey_ant samandar chahey
mein ne es tor se chaha tujghey aksar jana
