Yeh zindagi to meri zinda lash hai

Koyi to keh de is marz ka ilaaj hai
Dosto mujhe kafun ki talash hai

Mujhe duniya se koi gila nahi ik sawal hai
Mujhe kafun ki kyun talash hai

Dost ban kar loota hai
Hamdard ban kar mara hai

Yeh khail to mere saath sihyasat ki misal hai
Jete jee mar raha hun yeh bana mera haal hai

Issi liye dosto mujhe kafun ki talash hai
