Kabhi Kabhi meray dil main khayaal aata hai
K zindagi tere zulfon ki naram chaown main

Guzarnay pati to shadab ho bhi sakti thee
Ya tairgee jo meri zeest ka muqadar hai

Tere nazar ki showon main kho bhi sakti thee
Ajab na tha k main begana alam ho kar

Teray jamal ki ranayon main kho rehta
Tera gudaz badan , tere neem baaz aankhain

Inhee haseen fasano main mehav ho rehta
Teray labon say halawat k ghont pee laita

Hayat cheekhti phirti birhana sir or main
Ghanairi zulfoon kay sai main chup k jee laita

Magar ya ho na saka or ab ya aalam hai
k tu nahi tera gham, tere justaju bhi nahi

Guzar rahi hai kuch is tarah zindage jaisay
Isay kisi k saharay ki aarzo bhi nahi

Zamanay bhai k dukhon ko laga chuka hon galay
Guzar rah hon kuch anjani rahguzaron say

Muhhib sai meri simt barhtay aatay hain
Hayaat o mout k pur houl kharzaaron say

Na koi jada manzil Na roshni ka chiragh
Bhatak rahi hai khalwon main zindagi meri

Inhi khalwon main rah jaon ga kabhi kho kar
Main janta hon meri hum nafas magar younhi

Kabhi kabhi meray dil main khayaal aata hai
