ke bisaat-e-jaan pe azaab utarte hain kis tarah
shab-o-roz dil pe ataab utarte hain kis tarah
kabhi ishq ho to pata chale
ye log se hain chupe hue pas-e-dostaan
to ye kon hain
ye jo roag se hain chupe hue pas-e-jism o jaan
to ye kis liye
ye jo kaan hain mere aahaton pe lage hue
to ye kyon bhala
ye jo hont hain saf-e-dostaan me silay hue
to ye kis liye
ye jo iztaraab racha hua hai wajood me
to ye kyon bhala
ye jo sang sa koi aa gira hai jamood me
to ye kis liye
ye jo dil me dard chida hua hai lateef sa
to ye kab se hai
ye jo putliyon may hai aks koi khafif sa
so ye kab se hai
ye jo annkh me koi barf si hai jami hui
to ye kis liye
ye jo doston me nayi nayi hai kami koi
to ye kyon bhala
ye jo log peeche pare hue hain fuzool main
unhen kya pata unhen kya khabar
kisi raah ke kisi mor per jo zara unhen
'kabhi ishq ho to pata chale'
