Basti basti phertay thay
Her pal hastay rehtay thay
Pher ak din dono rooth gaye
Or saray sapnay toot gaye
Ab chand b us waqat ata hai
Suraj jab so jata hai
Badal shab se kahta hai
Suraj uljha sa rehta hai
Chand ka sath sitray hain
Per suraj tanha rehta hai
