Main usay waqif'e ulfat na karoon

sochta hoon ke bohot sadaa'o masoom hai woh
main abhi us ko shanasaa'e muhabbat na karoon
rooh ko us ki aseer'e gham'e ulfaat na karoon
us ko ruswa na karoon, waqif'e muhabbat na karoon
sochta hon ke abhi ranj se azaad hai woh
waqif'e dard nahi, khoogar'e alaam nahi
sehr'e ayish main us ki aseer shaam nahi
zindagi us ke liye zehr bhara jaam nahi!

sochta hoon ke muhabbat hai jawani ki khizaaN
us ne dekha hi nahi dunya main baharoon ke siwa
nikhaat'o noor se labreez nazaroon ke siwa
sabzaaH zaroon ke siwaa aur sitaroon ke siwa !
sochta hoon ke gham'e dil na sunaoon us ko
samnay us ke kabhi raaz ko uryaan na karoon
khalish'e dil se usay dast'o gereebaN na karoon
uskay jazbaat ko main shula'e bad' amaaN na karoon!
sochta hoon ke jala de gi muhabbat us ko
woh muhabbat ki bhala taab kahaan layei gi
khud to woh aatish'e jazbat main jal jayegi
aur dunya ko us ke anjaam pe tarpaeye gi

sochta hoon ke bohot sadaa'o masoom hai woh
main usay waqif'e ulfaat na karoon!
