Jurat’e perwaaz

Bujh gai shama’e ziyaposh’e jawani meri!
Aaj tak ki hai kaii bar “muhabbat” main ne
Ashkoon aur aahoon se labreez hain romaan mere
Hoo gai khatum kahani meri!
MiT gaye meri tamannaon ke perwanay bhi
Khoof’e nakami’o ruswai se
Husn ke shewaah’e khudraii se
Dil’e bechara ki majboori’o tanhai se!
Mere seenay main hi pechaaN rahein aahein meri
Ker sakeen rooh ko uryaan na nigahein meri!

Aik bar aur muhabbat kar loon
Saii nakaam sahi
Aur ik zehr bhara jam sahi
Mera ya meri tamannaon ka anjaam sahi
Aik sauda hi sahi, arzo’e kham sahi
Aik bar aur muhabbat kar loon?
Aik “insaan” se ulfaat kar lon?
Mere tarkash main baqi hai ik teer abhi
Mujh ko hai jurat’e tadbeer abhi
Ber sar’e jang hai taqdeer abhi
Aur taqdeer pe phelanay ko ik daam sahi?
Mujh ko ik bar wahi “koh kuni” kernay do
Aur wahi “kah ber aawerdun” bhi….?

Ya to jee uthoon ka is jurat’e perwaz se main
Aur kar degi wafa zindah jawed mujhey
Khud bata degi rah’e jadah’e umeed mujhey
Rifat’e manzil’e naheed mujhey
Ya utar jaonga main yaas ke weeranoon man
Aur tabahi ke nihaaN khanooN main
Takey ho jaye muhiyya akhir
Akhri had’e tanzil hee ki ik deed mujhey
Jis jagaah teer giyaaN khwab main hain
Aur jahan sotey hain ehr yaman bhi
Takay ho jaon isi terha shanasha akhir
Noor ki manzil’e aghaaz se main
Apni is jurat’e perwaz se main
