| Vegetable seekh ¼ kg of Potatoes. 125 gms of Yam.[sweet potatoes] 4 flakes of Garlic. 1 piece of Ginger. 3 nos of Green chilies. 2 tablespoons of Limejuice. Coriander leaves (chopped) As required. Oil for frying. Salt to taste. Method: · First boil the potatoes and the yam. Then mash and keep aside. · Grind together the garlic, ginger, green chilies and salt to a paste. · Now mix the above paste, limejuice and coriander leaves with the mashed potato-yam mixture. · Divide this mixture into equal portions. · Grease a 1/4" thick wooden stick and wrap each of the portions evenly around the stick. · Shape the seekh and gently slide off the needle. · Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown. · Serve hot.
