kin lafzon meN itni kadvi, itni kaseeli baat likhuN shair ki meN tehzeeb nibhaauN ya apne halaat likhuN gham nahiiN likhuN kya meN gham ko, jashn likhuN kya maatam ko jo dekhe heN meN ne janaaze kya unko baraat likhuN kaise likhun men chand ka kisse, kaise likhun men phool ki baat rait udaaye garm hawa to kaise meN barsaat likhuN kis kis ki aankhoN men dekhe meN ne zeher bujhe khanjar khud se bhi jo meN ne chhupaaye kaise woh sadmaat likhuN takht ki khawahish loot ki laalach kamzoroN pe zulm ka shauk lekin unka farmaana he meN inko jazbaat likhuN apni apni taareeki ko log ujaala kehte heN tareeki ka naam likhuN to qaumeN firke zaat likhuN jaane yeh kaisa daur he jismeN yeh jurrat bhi mushkil he din ho agar to usko likhuN din raat agar ho raat likhuN Javed Akhtar
