Who teri yaad thi ab yaad aaya

Aaj mushkil tha sambhalna ae dost
Tu museebat mein ajad yaad aaya

Din guzra that bari mushkil se
Phir tera waada e shab yaad aaya

Tera bhoola hua pemaan e wafa
Mar rahein ge agar ab yaad aaya

Phir kai log nazar se guzre
Phir koi shehr e tarab yaad aaya

Haal e dil hum bhi sunaatey lekin
Jab who rukhsat huey, tab yaad aaya

Beth kar saaya e gul mein NASIR
Hum bohat roye who jab yaad aaya
