Ham is khayaal say hi muskuraey jaatay hain

Mairay naseeb main woh rownaq-e-bahaar kaha'n

Khiza'n kay jhonkay bhi mujh ko rula'aiy jaatay hain

Kisi ki raah main ham nay bichaai thee'n aankhain

Hamaari raah main kaantay bichaey jaatay hain

Tumharay pyar nay yeh howsla diya hay mujhay

Har aik gham ko khushi say uthaey jaatay hain

Woh aaj mairay tasawwur main aa'gaey hain Háya

Ham jin ki yaad main aansu bahaaey jaatay hain
