terii zulf-o-ruKh ke qurbaan dil-e-zaar Dhuundhataa hai
vahii champaii ujaale vahii suramaii dhundhalake

koii phuul ban gayaa hai koii chaand koii taaraa
jo chiraag bujh gaye hain terii anjuman mein jal ke

mere dosto Khudaaraa mere saath tum bhii Dhuundo
vo yahiin kahiin chhupe hain mere Gam kaa ruKh badal ke

terii bejhijhak hansi se na kisii kaa dil ho mailaa
ye nagar hai aaiinon kaa yahaan saans le sambhal ke
