kuch haath bhi khaali thay k hum lay nahi paye
kuch aap ki bazaar mein keemat bhi bohat thi


manzil se zara pehlay woh chorr geya yun
kam houslah raahi tha, musafat bhi bohat thi


iss dum teray kho janay ka kuch ghum bhi nahi hai
uss waqt tujhay panay ki hasrat bhi bohat thi


uss ko bhi bichernay ka bohat runj huwa hai
meray liye uss ki yeh wazahat bhi bohat thi


suntay hein meray apnay hi thay qattal mein shaamil
kehtay hein unnhein iss pe nadamat bhi bohat thi
