kabhi mur ke yeh bhi to dekhta ke mera wajood zameen tha

wo hi ek sach tha uske baad sari tuhmatein jhoot hein
mere dil ko pura yaqeen hey wo muhabbaton ka ameen tha

usey shoq tha ke kisi jazire pe uske naam ka phool ho
mujhe pyar karna sikha gaya mera dost kitna zaheen tha

kabhi sahilon pe phiren ge to tumhein sippiyan hi bataein gi
meri ankh mein jo simat gaya wohi ashk sabse haseen tha
