Pal mein ho jate hain apne bhi, paraye bhi, zamane wale
Tuney kya cheez banaya hain, insaan bananewale

Tera kya hain tu lout ke ayega bhi kya janewale
Mujhko azad bhi karta ja tu apna bananewale

Jub bhi uth tey hain toh toofan utha dete hain
Koun kehta hain, mit jate hain zakhm puranewale

Kiska tum karte ho intezaar ankhon mein samundar lekar
Loutkar atey nahi who ek raat bitanewale

Yeh nahi hain ki dard ki awaj nahi hoti
Dard uth ta hai toh daba dete hain dabanewale

Baasi sapno sa bhoola dete hain, theek hi toh hain
Hum nahi khawab palko pe sajanewale

Unse umeed na rakh, jinke liye jal raha hai 'Deepak'
Bujhtey hi tujhe chodkar chal denge yeh jalanewale
