abhii kuch aur meraa dil dukhanaa chahiye thaa

taviil raat ke pahalu men kab se soii hai
naviid-e-subah tujhe jaag jana chahiye thaa

bahut qallaaq hua hairat Gaziidaa tufaaN ko
ke kaun Duube kinhen Duub jana chahiye tha

bujhe chiraaGon mein kitane hain jo jale hi nahi
savaad-e-vaqt inhen jagamagana chahiye thaa

ajab na tha ke qafas saath leke uD jaate
taDapana chahiye tha phaD pharana chahiye tha

ye meri haar ke kaar-e-janaN se hara magar
bichaDane vale tujhe yaad aana chahiye tha

tamam umr ki aasurdagi-e-vasl ke baad
