tum meri aankh ke tewar na bhula paaoge
unkahi baat ko samajho ge to yaad aaon ga

ham ne khushiyoon ki tarah dukh bhi ikatthe dekhe
safaah-e-zeest ko palato ge to yaad aaon ga

issi andaaz mein hote the muKhaatib mujh se
khat kisi aur ko likhoge to yaad aaon ga

sard raatoon ke mahakte hue sannaaton mein
jab kisi phool ko choomo ge to yaad aaon ga

ab tere ashk main honton se chura leta hon
haath se khud inhein poncho ge to yaad aaon ga

shaal pahnaye ga ab kaun decamber mein tumhein
baarishon mein kabhi bhiigo ge to yaad aaon ga

aaj tum mahafil-e-yaaraan pe ho maghroor bahot
jab kabhi Toot ke bikharo ge to yaad aaon ga

haadse aayenge jeevan mein tou tum ho ke nidhaal
kisi deevaar ko thamoge to yaad aaon ga
