Jab dil ye zid pe aa gaya,

Main aankh moond ke baith gaya,
Tu khayaal pe phir chaa gayi...

Ye dhadkan kahin ruk jaaye naa,
Meri nabz Thehr naa jaaye kahin,

Tune Waqt kiya mera lamha lamha,
Magar maut ko aasaan bana gayi...

Meri har daleel ko kiya ansuni,
Meri fariyaad bhi to suni nahin,

Main Hairaan hu, haa Kuch Pareshaan hu,
Aisa Faislaa tu mujhe suna gayi...

Mujhe chaand ki kabhi talab na thi,
Mujhe suraj ki bhi fikar nahi,

Bas aankh kholna hi chahte the ham,
Magar Tu roshni hi bujha gayi...

Beshak bhoolna tujhe chaha bahut,
Hans kar kabhi, ro kar kabhi,

De kar ye aansuon ki saugaat mujhe,
Tu daaman apna bacha gayi

Wo saath thi to zamana tha hamsafar mera
Magar ab koi nahi mere saath usay kehna

Usay kehna k bin us k din nahi kat'ta
Sisak sisak k kat'ti hai raat usay kehna

Ussay pukaroon ya khud hi pohanch jaoon us k pass
Nahi rahe ab wo halaat usay kehna

Agar wo phir b na lotay to aye meharbaan
Hamari zeest k halaat usay kehna

Her jeet us k naam kar raha hoon main
Main manta hoon apni haar usay kehna..
