ye jo duniya hai ' saraaye hai guzar hone tak
zindagi ik tamaasha hai basar hone tak

tujh se bichraa tou mere dil ka ajab haal hua
yani zinda hoon tujhe gham ki khaber hone tak

kis ko maloom k ik pal main yahan kia hojaye
meri haalat pe teri aik nazer hone tak

ghar ki deewaar pe jalta ye diya sochta hai
kia bharosa hai yahan dam ka sehar hone tak

koozah gar ho k musawwer ho k shaa'er ho koi
haath kutt jatey hain izhaar e hunar hone tak
