Tere Naam ki thi jo Roshni usey khud tu ne bujha diya
Jissko jala saki thi na Dhoop usey chandni ne jala diya

May ho gardisho ka maara howa mujhey ab apni khabar nahi
Wo jo shakhs tha mera rehnuma usey Rastoo main ganwaa diya

Jiss ko samjha tha to ne raqeeb,woh tera naseeb tha
Tere haath ki lakeer tha,usey to ne haath se hi mita diya

Mujhey ishq hai ke junoon, yeh faisla kabhi na ho saka
Mera naam zeenat-e-dasht tha,isey aandhiyo ne mita diya

Yeh udasiyoo ka jamal hai ke omara ivj-e-kamal hai
Ke kabhi zaat se bi chupa liya to kabhi shehar bhar ko suna diya

Mere omar ka gulistan abhi khula howa hai zaroor par
Wo jo phool thay tere chah ke unko mosamoo ne gira diya
